Vision 24

In the summer of 2019 I shared an overview of the our strategic journey as a school with our Governing Body: which can be found at Half-decade in Strategic Development 

The governors were interested in reflecting back on our journey as a school and what we had learned through the process, however they were also keen for us to look forward and for me to define where I would want us to be in another 5 years. Myself and our SLT had a go at creating a vision separately and then came together to discuss and collate our ideas. Last term it staff were asked to consider where they would want the school to be in 5 years time and these were also added to the final Vision 24.

 

The structure of the document is based on Simon Sinek’s ‘Golden Circle’.

The Why for us as a school are our Values. 

These are: Love, Forgiveness and Hope .

They are the root of our policies, practices and relationships

Positive contribution to lived experience of Community.

 

The How  for us is through our vision of ‘Growing an Inspirational Learning Community’ which you can read about at Defining & developing ‘Inspirational’ 

However through this process we have added: ‘Inspirational Staff Team’ and ‘External Recognition’.

 

The What are descriptors we are planning to achieve for Cornerstone by 2024.
